Welcome to Paul's Wine & Liquor. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at paulswineandliquor.com and related services. By using the site, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Age Requirement (21+)
You must be at least 21 years of age to use this website, request information about our products, or purchase from Paul's Wine & Liquor. By entering the site and confirming the age gate, you represent that you are 21 or older. All purchases — online order, pickup, or delivery — require presentation of valid government-issued photo ID at the point of receipt. We reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone who cannot or will not verify age.
3. Use of the Website
You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
- Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or copy content without our written permission.
- Misuse contact forms or newsletter signups (including fake submissions or spam).
- Upload or share any content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on others' rights.
4. Orders, Pickup & Delivery
Phone, email, and online inquiries are not a final sale. Orders are confirmed only when we reply with confirmation, price, and pickup or delivery window.
- In-store purchases are final at the point of sale.
- Pickup orders must be collected by the person named on the order or an authorized pickup contact, with valid 21+ ID.
- Local delivery requires a signature and ID verification on receipt. If no verified adult is present, the delivery will not be completed and may incur restocking or redelivery fees.
- We may cancel any order at our discretion, including (but not limited to) suspected fraud, pricing errors, inability to verify age, or stock issues.
5. Pricing & Availability
We work hard to keep pricing and inventory accurate, but errors happen. We reserve the right to correct any pricing or inventory error, cancel affected orders, and issue a refund where payment was taken. Promotional pricing is limited to stock on hand and for the period stated; "while supplies last" applies to all sale items.
6. Returns & Refunds
Under Wisconsin law, alcohol sales are generally final. We will refund or exchange product that is:
- Corked, flawed, or defective — return with receipt and we'll make it right.
- Damaged in transit (for delivery orders) — notify us within 24 hours of receipt.
For qualifying event orders (weddings, corporate events), unopened product in original resale condition can often be returned — confirm at time of order.
7. Gift Cards
Gift cards are sold in denominations of $25 and up. Gift cards:
- Do not expire and hold no service fees.
- May be used toward any product in-store, subject to applicable Wisconsin law.
- Cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.
- Are treated like cash — lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, photos, logos, graphics, branding, and code — is the property of Paul's Wine & Liquor or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. Third-party product names, brand marks, and logos belong to their respective owners and are used for product identification only.
9. Disclaimers
The website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the site or the information on it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paul's Wine & Liquor, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or our products, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.
